Update Hiatus
Posted in News on 03/30/2006

I’m sure quite a few people will be disappointed with this decision, but I have decided to place ATIW on an update hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. I do not know when or if I will be updating again. As most of you know, the direction of the show as of late has left much to be desired and it doesn’t seem the future is going to be any brighter. All taken together, I have lost the last tiny bit of enthusiasm and interest I had for Las Vegas, and as such, I am no longer a viewer of the show. Since I’m no longer watching, it makes it kind of hard to update this place, thus the decision to put it on hiatus. The site will remain open for visitors who wish to view the content already here. Thanks for your support this past year and thanks for understanding my current position.

Updates!
Posted in News, Updates on 01/24/2006

I have quite a few updates this time around. First, I have videos and screencaps from last nights episode, Here’s Mike With the Weather up. Also, I added transcrips from episodes 1.9 Year of the Tiger and 1.10 Decks and Violence.

In additon to the updates, I have a bit of show news as well. After the winter Olympics conclude, Las Vegas will be moving to Friday nights at 9PM. NBC seems to be positive that the show will continue to do well in the time slot and serve as one of the networks “tent pole” shows. Still, we all need to be sure to tune in and support the show on its new night.

Las Vegas Cast Changes
Posted in News on 07/10/2005

It was announced this past week that Lara Flynn Boyle will be joining the cast of Las Vegas this fall as the new owner of the Montecito. More information can be found at TheFutoncritic.com, Zap2It.com, and NBC Media Village.

TNT to re-run Las Vegas
Posted in News on 06/22/2005

After a post on the message board that someone had seen it posted on thefutoncritic.com that TNT would be airing Las Vegas repeats 5 nights a week starting in Fall 2007, I decided to start seeing if I could find out anything else–and I did. :) Variety.com is reporting that TNT will indeed be airing the repeats! In addition, TNT will also reportedly be acquiring the rights to offer the show through Video on Demand (VOD). The best news of all, however, is that in the deal, NBC is supposedly guaranteeing TNT at least 88 episodes of the show–meaning that unless they just bomb terribly in s3, season 4 is already a go. Awesome.

Season 2 DVD Release and Season 3 Premiere Date!
Posted in News on 06/15/2005

We’ve finally got the dates! As posted on LTVS by one of their mods, tvshowsondvd.com has announced the release date for the season 2 dvd set! For the complete story, head over to TvShowsOnDvd. The season 2 DVD set will be released on September 13, and like the s1 set, will include longer episodes featuring footage that was “too hot for tv.” Although the special features have not been formally announced yet, they also say that Gary Scott Thompson has told them (TvShowsOnDVD) that the set will include bloopers from both seasons 1 and 2 and several other bonus items.

In the same article, it was told that the season 3 premiere date has been set for September 19. Last year, we saw this date change multiple times before it finally stuck on September 13, so I’m sure this is subject to change.

Updates
Posted in News, Updates on 06/08/2005

Two updates tonight! Well, more like 1 1/2 updates… The very kind and gracious Meg has undertaken the daunting task of transcribing all of our favorite Dary scenes! Tonight, I added the transcripts from the pilot episode. I had to spend some time figuring out how I wanted to organize and layout the section, so I just added the one set tonight, but there will be lots more to follow. The transcripts can be found in the Facts & Fun section. I also spent some time getting the spoilers, news, and updates archive working. This feature will likely come in more handy to you guys once the show starts back up in the fall.

Also, a little bit of news and a heads up. It seems that NBC is going to be putting a lot of effort into promoting the show this summer! If you head over to the official Las Vegas site at nbc.com, you can read about their plans to re-air key episodes of the series and about a lot of really neat-sounding goodies they’ll be putting up! As one of their extras, they will be showing bloopers from the show this upcoming Monday night (6-13-05) when episode 1.14 “Things That Go Jump In the Night” is repeated. Although TTGJITN does not feature in Dary, it’s worth tuning in to see those bloopers! In the promo up on the site, they show a shot of Josh in boxers… Need I say more?

Welcome Everyone
Posted in News on 04/24/2005

Hi Everyone! I would like to take a moment to welcome everyone to our new Danny and Mary site! After several weeks of work, we’re finally up and online. As of right now, it may seem to be lacking in content, but I promise you, I have tons of stuff left to add. If you have anything you would like to contribute in terms of fanart, fanfic, etc., please e-mail me at itwasfate@written-in-stars.net. You will receive full credit for any submissions.

A few of the pages, such as the links and site info pages, aren’t done yet, but will be soon.

The plan is to try to add at least something everyday. Tomorrow, I’ll be adding vids and screencaps if we get anything good, and if not, I’ll probably be adding another batch of screencaps to the gallery.

Last, but not least, I’d like to thank everyone for their support and ideas over the past few weeks!
